I recently signed up at myregistry.com and after seeing how easy it was I insisted the rest of my family create accounts. The website really minimizes the stress that can come along with holiday shopping. I have a large extended family and it is so difficult to keep up with who purchased what and for which family member. I know my siblings and I used to constantly be playing phone tag, trying to figure out if we were buying duplicate gifts or trying to colaberate on what we may think a family member wanted. Now that we all have accounts its is so simple to go online and check what was purchased and for who, but the best part it NO MORE MALLS!!!!

I'd thought about doing that as soon as I found out about this, but the people I have the most trouble shopping for are the men in the family. Were you able to get the guys to sign up as well? If so, how did you hook them?
Thanks!

This is a great idea. My family sends emails out with their wishlist for the holidays. It gets to be a pain because then we have to check and see what is left on the list after some have started shopping. It is too late for this Christmas to register, but I am definitely going to suggest it for next year.
