Have any of you tried the Bare Minerals face powder yet? I have been watching the commercials for it and want to try it so bad but I have never found anyone who can tell me if it works nearly as well as it claims to.

The bare mineral products are great. If you have dry skin they probably aren't the best idea but otherwise and they are good and easy to use. I recently purchased the ruby collection and never have I ever been more satisfied with a make-up purchase. I don't really like makeup and don't know how to use it but bare minerals is just wonderful

Bare Minerals is a good, loose powder make up, but there are other mineral make up lines that are less expensive and just as effective.

I always suggest people explore the options that aren't normally advertised so heavily.  The products are the same and you aren't paying for the company's promotional activities!

bare minerals is great. noone ever thinks I have makeup on but i do, they just think i have the best skin! For a little while I ran out of it and stopped using it just to try something different. That ended up being a waste and I went right back to buying a new pack of bare minerals. They have really nice put together sets now so you can get the whole starter kit and eyeshadows too. It seems very light at first and you'll be like - how the hell am I going to cover anythign with this- but the dvd shows you and it really works! Try it, it's worth it.

I've been on the verge of switching to this for the last year or so, but I decided to go back to the Clinique skincare set instead.  Do you still use whatever to wash and moisturize your face and then put on the bare minerals system or do they have their own recommended skin care line too?

I am pretty sure that just about any skin care line is compatible with Bare Minerals, or any other mineral make up line.

I just bought the bare mineral powder foundation.  I have only used it a couple of times, but really do like it.  It doesn't feel like there is any makeup on my face when I use it.

Wow!  Thanks for all that information!

I hate wearing makeup but I've been considering bare minerals.  I think all those reviews just got me off the fence.  I'm going to give it a try!

This makeup is a godsend. You can also use their concealer which isnt included in the pack but worth getting if you have zits or anything. It's around $16 and lasts a really long time.

I've heard that it's pretty good, too... but what about the mineral veil?

Some of my friends have said they don't mind it but others say their face feels heavy with makeup after they put it on... or even that if you skip the mineral veil, it doesn't make a difference.

What do you all think?
