I had a girl a few years ago and oh my was that pregnancy a breeze. No morning sickness, no nothing! Now I'm pregnant and I feel like the sickness just get worse. My doctor said it's normal. Maybe I'm having a boy and that's why all the sudden I'm having more sickness when having my girl? Does anyone know if this may be the case?

It is possible of course, but both of my pregnancies were very different and I ended up with two girls with extremely different personalities.

I don't know if your morning sickness is related to te baby's gender or not.

Gender isn't created u ntil after the first trimester, as far as I know, so your hormones shouldn't be responding to a baby's testoterone levels.

Each pregnancy is different so maybe you are more sensitive, this time.  You could also be feeling more illness because you have one child who is already placing demands on your time and energy.

I have both a boy and girl and I was horribly sick with both of them.  Sorry to lessen your theory.

I have a boy and girl too, and I had relatively nice pregnancies with both.
