Paper: Buy higher quality, heavy-weight paper—available in any stationary or office supply store—to print your cards on. Many higher-grade papers are relatively inexpensive, and the superior results are more than worth the difference in price. Printer: Every printer has settings to adjust the resolution it will print at. Make sure to set your printer to the best resolution for the paper you've purchased. Cutting: You can go the traditional route and use scissors to cut out your cards, but we find that using a box cutter and a metal ruler results in the cleanest cut. Cut slowly and carefully to ensure the edges of your cards are as straight as possible.
