Adding gifts to your ultimate online gift registry is simple, easy and fun. Creating a
Registry with MyRegistry.com allows you to add gifts from any store in the
world. You can add items from reputable universal stores such as Amazon.com
and Target.com and you may also include unique offline items from the boutique
down the street. Adding many items will turn your account into a beautifully
displayed registry with clear images, detailed gift titles and the item's price and
availability. As a member, you have the option to leave detailed notes (such as
color, size or any other preference) about an item. As a guest, the notes left
regarding the presents can be utilized to allow you to purchase the exact product
requested by the member.
Installing the 'Add Gift to MyRegistry' button is all it takes to get you on your way
to never receiving a gift you didn't want. You can add all types of items to your
registry- there are no limits! You can add traditional items such as electronics
(TV's, home theater system or Camcorders), furniture (futons, recliners or
rocking chairs), kitchen or dinnerware (blenders, table sets or cookbooks) or
bed and bath accessories (comforters, sheets or towels). For a more creative
approach you can add items that suit your personality. You can add unique items
such as horse back riding lessons, a sky diving excursion, concert tickets or
dinner for two at your favorite restaurant. At MyRegistry.com, the only limit of
what items you can add to your registry is your imagination.
Once items are added to the registry, you are given the option to create
categories to help divide the type of items you have. Creating categories places
your items in an organized setting either by type (clothes or housewares) or by
occasion and events (birthdays, baby shower, wedding, holidays).

over and over.
To begin adding items to your gift list simply log in to your MyRegistry account
and click the 'Add to MyRegistry' button link below the 'Welcome' tab. In the
instruction page, select a browser (the selection box is above step 1).
MyRegistry.com offers instructions for Internet Explorer, AOL, FireFox, Mozilla,
Netscape and Safari browsers. Follow the simple instructions on how to install
the 'Add to MyRegistry' button, and it will appear on your browser.
The next step is where the real fun begins. This is the time when you can go to
any online store you wish, and add potential presents for yourself. Simply find the
product on the store's item page (not from a shopping cart) and click the 'Add to
MyRegistry' button, located on your browser, while you remain on that store's
item page. The 'Add this Gift' window will pop up where you will need to add the
quantity desired, price and select a currency if it is outside of the United States. If
you are unsure of what items to add to your gift registry, you may utilize our 'Gift
Ideas' feature (click the 'Gift Ideas' tab) which offers a large variety of retailers
and categories to suit all of your needs. The 'Gift Ideas' section offers items
ranging from Computers, Apparel, Jewelry, Electronics, Baby Needs, Bridal
Accessories, Luggage, Wines and Sporting goods to name a few. Browse the
items offered in our Gift Ideas to help set up your first home or apartment
(Furniture and Decor), start your new family (Strollers, Car Seats and Cribs) or
to help create a gift list of all things desired such as Camcorders, Gourmet Foods
and Bed and Bath essentials. Once you locate the items you would like to add to
your gift registry (by clicking the category list or by using search keywords, all
you have to do is click the 'Add to MyRegisty' button and it will automatically
appear on your gift list for your guests to purchase for you.
When you add a gift, include additional notes and details regarding the gift. If you
created categories, you may select one from the drop-down list to make sure the
item will automatically be placed exactly where you want. In case that the image
of the present is incorrect, you can click the small square box below the image
and select another image from the image list located on the right hand side of the
'Add this Gift' window. Once you have included all the details of your present-to-
be, simply click the 'Add this Gift to your Registry' button and that item will be
instantly added to your registry account.
You always have an option to view your registry as a visitor to get an idea of
what others will see when they access your registry. The moment you add an item
to your registry with the 'Add to MyRegistry' button, click the 'View MyRegistry
with the New Item' button located in the 'Add this gift to your registry' window.
Another option to view your registry as a visitor is while you are logged into your
account - click the 'View what your visitors see ' link, located at the top of your
registry, and it will automatically take you to your registry to see the wonderful set
up you created for your visitors with just a few simple clicks.
