If you have a Premier PayPal Account, there are no limits to the amount of Cash Gift transactions you can receive. PayPal’s transaction fee for a U.S. Premier Account is 2.9% +$0.30 per transaction (i.e. $3.20 for a $100 contribution to your cash gift account).
If you have a Personal PayPal Account, PayPal limits the amount of credit card transactions you can receive to 5 in a year. PayPal’s transaction fee for a U.S. Personal Account is 4.9% +$0.30 per transaction (i.e. $5.20 for a $100 contribution to your cash gift account). To cover the costs involved in the Cash Gift service, MyRegistry.com assesses a reasonable handling fee to complete all Cash Gift Fund transactions. Once this fee has been processed, MyRegistry.com seamlessly redirects you to PayPal to complete your cash gift transaction. The MyRegistry.com handling fee will appear as a separate transaction on your monthly billing statement.
